wow last time i updated was...*checks date* MAY 2008!?!? wow where have i been? well any way i got tired of seeing the same journal every time i went on my profile so i figured it was time to update. any whoo well this whole summer i have been waiting for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to hit theatres, so when it finally did i was super, annoyingly (according to my mother) excited to see it. So i did. I was so depressed with what i saw. i'm sitting there watching this movie that doesn't even follow the book a little bit and seeing scenes that the director must have pulled out of thin air and i'm almost to the point of tears over how horrible it was. it was absoulutely HORRIBLE. When the movie was over i was very tempted to ask for my money back, the director or whoever gets that money didn't deserve it. they butchered what was an important movie to the whole series. for starters at the beginning you should have seen the meeting between fudge and the muggle prime minister and the introduction of rufus scrimgeor, but all there is is the bridge incident that is brought up briefly in the conversation. oh and there's only one quiditch match which isn't shown completly. and like the previous movie once again ron and hermoine aren't prefects. there's very little magic at all in the movie. there is no battle between the death eaters and the Order of the Phoenix/D.A. no bill weasley (once again). a scene at the burrow that wasn't even in the book. no levicourpus spell. you don't see some of the most important memories that deal with Tom Riddle's history like the one with his grandfather Marvolo or the one with the lady who owned Helga Hufflepuff's cup. and probably the worst thing they did with the movie was that they not only butchered the scene of harry and ginny's first kiss (which should have been in the gryffindor common room after ginny tells him she caught the snitch winning them the quidditch cup), but they have no focus on their relationship at all! just one tiny, quick kiss while harry's eyes are closed and that's it!!!! this is the part of the series where their relationship begins! you'd think they would put a little bit more focus on Harry and Ginny, but nooooo they couldn't possibly do something right now could they?!?!? Seeing this movie ruined my whole day which sucked cause i saw an early showing of that dumb piece of shit movie. in fact this is the first time i've actually admitted to going to it. So if any one reads this, save your money and wait until it comes out then RENT it. It's absolutely not worth wasting money on. I can only hope that when/if they get bad feedback from the harry potter fans that they will do better on the last two movies because if this director screws them up he will be forever remembered throughout history as the man who ruined the harry potter movie series. + + + = EXTREMLY PISSED OFF (which i am)
